So, giving this place 5 starts doesn’t mean it’s a 5-start motel but it is everything they advertise it to be. The building is old and it’s on a busy street but it lived up to my expectations and was overall great. The room was very dated but also very clean and comfortable. The heat worked great, the shower was hot, the bed was reasonably comfortable and the TV was nice. The location is really great. There’s a gas station and mini-mart literally steps away. I was able to walk just a few blocks and find several great restaurants also. The check in/out process was easy and the staff was friendly. I’d stay here again for sure.
Sheltering in place giving me time to catch up on things. I had the opportunity to visit Corvallis a while back and was able to see some the recent updates at the University Inn Corvallis. The updated rooms were pleasantly surprising in design. Fun and cool. Great bathroom, especially liked the shower. Also liked the lighting and numerous plug ins. TV and WiFi were fine. Checking in and out was quick, efficient and friendly great value. As always downtown location and proximity to OSU a real plus. I stayed there last spring with my granddaughter while visiting colleges. I took some pictures to show her the new rooms, which I’ll also share here. We will return if OSU makes her short list
The staff here are always friendly and the location downtown can’t be beat!
They also offer free “destination” charging for Tesla electric vehicles. Super easy to get anywhere in Corvallis from here either walking or by the free bus system!
Great people, easy access, 4 Tesla charging stations. Centrally locates and great nearby restaurants. Very easy to get to, but if you’re staying here to get to the University it’s super easy. Also the complementary tesla charging is a fantastic way to stay in Corvallis, the nicest spot in all of Oregon.
It’s not a ritzy hotel but is clean and I ALWAYS have smiling and pleasant service. Stay here everyone I travel thru Corvallis. Location is key to the downtown Corvallis. Trails and coffee nearby plus Block 15 brewery across the street! Keep up the great work UI!
We spent two nights at the University in first and second of August. We were amazed at the high quality of the recently remodeled two queen bed room! This was a top-to-bottom remodel, with new beds, new bathroom, new refrigerator and microwave, new 35 inch flat screen TV, new lighting and flooring. Excellent downtown location only two or three blocks to the university as well. Free parking and Wi-Fi, and all for only $65 a night, wow! We stayed in room 153; make sure you ask for a remodeled room, as I am not certain the quality of the old rooms! Friendly staff too. Highly recommended!
