Protocols
Front Desk and Lobby:
We’ve introduced new protocols designed to minimize guest contact with personnel for a safer check-in and service experience.
Hotel Corvallis has implemented social distancing policies, posted wellness best practices signs prominently, and removed all brochures, magazines, and papers from the lobby and other common areas.
Our staff is using enhanced sanitization procedures at the front desk, in the lobby, and across guest touch points throughout the hotel.
We disinfect and sanitize all surfaces regularly, according to CDC guidelines.
GUESTROOMs & HOUSEKEEPING
We have implemented enhanced, thorough cleaning protocols in all guest rooms. Whenever possible, we do not enter guest rooms for 24-72 hours after a guest checks out.
At that point, the room, linens, and all touchpoints (including faucets, door handles, light switches, thermostats, clocks, and hangers) will be thoroughly sanitized with CDC-recommended disinfectants that have been proven to kill the COVID-19 virus and other pathogens.
To ensure guest safety and make for easier in-room disinfection, we’ve removed all unnecessary items from our guest rooms, including decorative pillows, bed scarves, paper notepads, and pens.
To protect our sanitation and housekeeping staff and employees, daily housekeeping service will be by request only.
Hotel Employees and Staff Requirements:
Hotel employees will adhere to strict COVID-19 guidelines, including utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and observing stringent hand-washing protocols. All housekeepers and laundry staff will wear both gloves and a mask throughout their shifts. Employee workstations will be cleaned and disinfected after every shift.

Employees will stay home if they feel unwell and will communicate potential COVID-19 exposure to management. All employees will be fully educated on how to maintain a safe and clean workspace and home.
